Felt Cut Out Shapes for Travel Fun

What do you do the day before you and your family go on holiday for over two and a half weeks and you everything to organise still? Spend two hours cutting out felt shapes of course!!

I wanted to encourage my kids to practice their writing yesterday so I thought I was being very clever by convincing them to write out a list of felt characters and backgrounds that they'd like me to cut out while I got organised for our trip.

Turns out they are committed when it's something that will benefit them! So here we have a number of dogs, a puma, a shark, the marshmallow man (of course), a princess, a shark, an octopus, a mermaid, a lizard, a cheetah, a pig, a snake, some grass, a lake, a volcano that can be either dormant or erupting and a tree that can either be covered in leaves or without. Phew. Hopefully they will enjoy playing with these very light and easy to carry toys on the plane and during our road trip for 2 and a bit weeks.

Things will be quiet until September. See you all then!
