Making daisy chain necklaces

A quick and easy craft for Mom that will let kids practice their skills with buttons and make a pretty necklace at the end! Perfect for travel busy bags or quiet time

This is just an adaptation of something I've seen on social media recently. Felt strips with buttons at one end and a hole at the end. Why not make it a bit prettier and an activity that has a beginning and an end?

All you need is felt and some buttons, thread and a needle.

Cut the felt out as above.

Sew the flowers on first and the buttons on next. I cut the felt to a point at the bottom so it was more realistic and looked prettier when made into a necklace

To make sure the button is sewn on super strong bring the needle out as close to the button between the button and the green felt and wrap it around as few times. Then finish with a few stitches on the back.

With scissors carefully cut a slit in the end of each flower stem.

Voila! Beautiful felt flowers ready for play!
