Kids love sand. Kids love to dig. Kids love to search for things. Thus you have another way to teach the alphabet!

This needs very little explanation. I put four pairs of upper and lowercase letters into the sand/sensory box. I chose ones that had differing upper and lower case letters and covered them over leaving just a little bit of the card visible so my three year old could see that there was a card there. She did the activity independently and successfully! Afterwards, the kids got all their fossils and dinosaur/ancient animals out and played for a good, long time! Learning is fun!
