Now here's an invitation to play! I want to play with it myself!

This little take-me-anywhere tin was very easy to set up and used modelling clay. I discovered modelling clay recently in an art shop. I always buy Play-doh for my kids but it dries out so I've never thought to use it like this. Modelling clay doesn't dry out!! And it softens when you work it with your fingers so you can reuse it again and again. It worked brilliantly here because you could really flatten it out to cover the whole tin. I made a basic scene but wanted to leave the rest for my daughter to create.
If you're wondering where the little fairy garden toys came from, we bought them a while back to make a proper fairy garden, with succulents and nasturtiums. Well the garden grew and the plants had to be repotted. I was looking for a new way to use the toys and here we are! The kids had lost interest in the fairy garden but I can guarantee they will love this. When you mix it up a bit, they always get interested again!
With the summer holidays looming less than one week away, I am thinking A LOT about what to do to keep the kids busy while we travel this summer. I have so many busy little activities planned and they will all be easy and quick to set up because I will be as busy as everyone! So check back or follow me on my social media channels to keep in the loop.
Happy summer!
